Herbal First Aid with Julia Hollowell
Learning herbal medicine and building a home apothecary can be overwhelming, especially at the beginning. Julia Hollowell, mom and herbalist with two decades of experience, will introduce you to the seven local plants she uses most often for everyday bumps, bruises, coughs, and sniffles.
In this class, you’ll learn how to identify these plants in the wild and forage them ethically. You’ll also learn medicine-making basics and leave with instructions on using each plant.

Itchy eyes, runny nose, hacking coughs - it's allergy season again! In this class, herbalist Julia Hollowell will introduce you to her favorite plants for managing the allergy cycle. From popular remedies like Stinging Nettle to unlikely plant allies (Ragweed as a tincture??!!), you'll leave with a better understanding of how to enjoy the natural world, even when allergy season rears its head.
